May we remember today:
That for every son or daughter born free here, there where was a son or daughter who died there- who willingly gave up their life- freely.
May we remember today:
That for every Bible opened freely here, there was a battalion under open fire there- bravely standing so we can stand and praise free.
May we remember today:
That life is worth dying for, freedom worth fighting for and the prayers and words of support from people back home are like fuel to a weary soldier’s soul.
May we remember today:
The mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, husbands and wives and children who have lost their loved ones to war.
May we remember today:
The many soldiers and their families that continue to war against the memories of war. God comfort them and silence their storms.
May we remember today:
That freedom is never free, but it always comes with a price. And that price is life. Thank you God for our soldiers who so brilliantly display the heart of Christ.
Help us Lord to live a Iife of sacrifice.
