About the Author

My name is Charity. My husband and I have been married for 13 years. We have been blessed with six beautiful and vibrant children. The majority of my time is spent in our home caring for and teaching our children. I started blogging as a way to quiet my heart, collect my thoughts, and fix my eyes on Christ and what matters most in the midst of our daily and often messy life.

I pray that what you read here would encourage you and perhaps cause you to also consider what matters most.

Thanks for stopping by,

Charity

I’m new to the blogosphere and am searching for new thoughts on timeless truth from fellow believers as well as skeptics to challenge and encourage me in my walk with Jesus. I also love to laugh at the crazy we encounter in life and, since you have 5 children, I’m sure you encounter your fair share! 😉

I’ve only read a few of your posts but have really enjoyed your insights. Thank you for being a faithful sister in Christ and sharing what He is teaching you… I look forward to exploring and hearing more from you!

Thank you. You continue to be on my heart today. I read your reply to my comment on your blog and I continue to consider your perspective. We all have unique callings, but we are all called to love. Not every person will birth a child. Not every person will raise a child. But every person is called to love others and care for them as a loving parent would- because regardless of our age- we are all God’s children. I pray that God will use you in a mighty way to love his children. I pray you will be his hands and voice to the orphans. I pray that His grown “children” will clearly see the love that Father has for them through you. And I pray that everyday you will become overwhelmingly aware of the mighty love that your Heavenly Father has for you. You are deeply and mightily loved.

I really appreciate and enjoy the thoughts that go into your devotions – especially “Tears”. Our pastor just gave a sermon on this passage yesterday. We are beginning to put together a booklet that will minister to people suffering from adversities. We will have Scriptures, Public Domain songs, Poems, Quotes, short Devotions, Referrals to where to get help, etc. I am a very newcomer to your website.I believe that some of your devotions would really speak to people we know who are troubled with serious dilemmas. I especially would like to put your devotion “Tears” in it if you are willing to give me permission. If you do give me permission, I would appreciate if you would tell me “exactly” what I need to put on the page as complete credit for the permission.
Thank you for your consideration and may God continue to bless your efforts as you give Christian encouragement and blessings to others.
