I have always heard the saying, “If the shoe fits, wear it.” Our daughter is causing me to rethink this.
She has always loved to walk around the house in my shoes, clomping here and there. But today she is determined to wear her sister’s “bigger and better” shoes. Which is fine with her big sister because they hurt her big sister’s feet.
So around the house she is walking, in shoes that are bigger and better than her own. And you know, if she keeps walking in these shoes, putting them on every morning, eventually, they WILL fit her. Sure, she may stumble a bit, but she can get back up. She will grow to fill them, and that is what matters most.
Today I challenge you to consider the shoes you are walking in. And if you desire to walk in something bigger and better, why not start today?
